Stargoyles is a story set in the world of Enchanted Earth, twenty years before the events of The Multifold Manus. It follows the mercenary team, Star, through the Australian Unification War, also known as the Aether War where magic and machines dictate the flow of battle. The setting of Enchanted Earth is parallel to our own world, with magical and mythical creatures, strange (and familiar) technology and dangerous and thrilling situations.
“I wanted to write this story along with Reece as a sort of grittier wartime drama with elements of mecha and fantasy. My hope is to write out a thrilling story with characters that the reader can latch onto. While the usual stories from Enchanted Earth tend to be what we would call “Bright Modern Fantasy,” I wanted to write something a little darker in tone.”
